Mark and I are getting ready to be "Cross County Boys" backing up Dave Delmonte and his rockabilly stylings at the Portchester Day festivities on Sat, 9/13.  It's too bad Gus couldn't join us but he had other commitments to take care of.  It should go well and I know Mark and I are looking forward to playing as Tastes Like Chicken again on 11/1!

Well, we played at Rowley's in Norwalk last Sat, 3/22 and me, Mark, and Gus had a great time.  We really felt energized and it seems like the nice crowd that was there had a good time.  We played 45 songs and was probably one of our best shows in quite a while.  Thanks to all who came out (we know who you are!) and I'm sure we''l be back soon.

Well, tonight I'm writing this on one of our most sacred holidays, President's Day.  What a day to reflect and think about all the presidents we once had and are going to have.  I think this is my new favorite holiday.  It used to be Memorial Day since it kicked off the summer or the 4th of July since it was always so much fun or maybe Christmas or Thanksgiving.  But now that I think about it, how can you beat President's Day!?  I love a holiday where some people have it off and others don't.  It makes things so much more exciting!  Who has it off?  Who doesn't?  I guess we'll only know by who answers their email.  What a day!

Anywho, we're playing 2 times in one week!  This should cover us until 2010.  But seriously, we're excited and we can't wait to plug in and show those kids what for!  We're getting ready and we hope you are too.

Well, since we'll be back to rockin' for the Halloween show on 10/27, we're back to practicing.  It was nice to be together again.  The three of us have been doing this for so long that it's just second nature.  We'll just be getting together a few times before the show to build up some stamina and maybe resurrect a few of the old forgotten songs.

I'll keep you all abreast - and when I say all, I really mean me since I'm the only one who reads this blog.

Looks like we're going to go ahead and accept the St Patrick's Day show at Fiddler's Green......without Mark!  He'll be away but me and Gus really want to play this date.  We'll be dipping back into the substitute drummer pool and see who's interested.  I guess we'll see what happens.
